Yarn: 2 skeins of contrasting colours of Hedgehog Fibres Chubby, 50m/100g. You could make two hats as pictured with three skeins in three colours (including pompoms). Pictured in Coral and Glacier, and Kid You Not and Glacier. Needle & Notions: 6.5mm circular needle. Tapestry needle. Gauge: 16 stitches and 19 rows is 10cm in 1x1 ribbing in the round. Gauge measured after washing and laying flat to dry.

Circumference of about 40cm and about 22cm deep. The ribbing is very stretchy and I measured the circumference when laying flat unstretched.

This cute colour-blocked hat is super quick and easy to make! It’s pretty hard to beat a simple 1x1 rib for a hat and it fits so snugly and comfortably.
