Description
Hey! This tea cosy could be the beginnings of a cosy story told in front of the fire! - Charmingly witty yet homely and reassuringly comforting and very fun to make - if you like something different then this is for you! The cosy part is part knitted in the round or on dpns - the spout is worked as picked up stitches and the whole pattern is worked as twisted slanting ribbing - to give a tree bark sort of effect! The owl is nestling inside a hollow which is simply created by working short row shaping and the leaves are double sided - knitted over two needles - the whole creation can easily be worked over a weekend. The pattern is available as a full colour pdf with just a couple of pictures to save on print costs. For more information, see: http://www.dotpebbles.blogspot.com
