Adult medium, 22" head

This pattern is a twist on the traditional basketweave stitch. It knits up quickly and makes a perfect unisex hat. It is simple enough to knit up, but has enough patterning to keep you interested. The stitch is easily memorized and Malabrigo Twist knits up like a dream. Langstaff Road is where my grandparents had their farm and where I loved to spend time as a child. There were many split rail fences to climb and sit on visiting with horses. This knitting stitch reminds me of that terrain.
