10 Free Baby Blankets Knitting Patterns

Any! This blanket used a mix of Hedgehog Fibres Aran, Hedgehog Fibres Merino DK, Hedgehog Fibres Sock, Hedgehog Fibres Sock Minis, Hedgehog Fibres Twist Sock and Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles. Lace weight yarns can easily be added.
Needle:
10mm circular needle, preferably with a long cable.
Gauge:
9 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch.

- Circular: Any that go well with the yarn you have, that give you the fabric density you want for your finished baby blanket. I suggest a cord length of at least 24” (60 cm) though.

Yarn: Any you want! This is a gauge-less pattern, you decide the fabric you like and go with that. The yardage depends on your gauge and how big you make the blanket, so I suggest you start decreasing on the blanket when you use up a little less than half of your total yardage.
