Materials
YARN
Unless otherwise stated, double strands of yarn are used together throughout this pattern. The exact combinations of yarn to be used are indicated by multiple letters so if the pattern states yarn AB use both A & B yarn held together as one. My yarn choices for the Grey Duckling (the brand and shades I used are in italic) are:
For the Beak and Feet, small amounts of:
Yarn A - 4-ply Alpaca in pink, Drops Baby Alpaca Silk 3125
Yarn B - fine crochet cotton in beige, DMC Petra, 3-ply shade 5712
For the Head and Body, small amounts of:
Yarn C - 4-ply Alpaca in beige, Drops Alpaca shade 2020
Yarn D - silk mohair in yellow, Rico Essentials Super Kid Mohair Loves Silk shade

KNITTING NEEDLES
Pair of 3.50 mm/ US 4 straight knitting needles
TOY EYES & NOSE
Pair 7 mm, black, toy eyes (and Pritt Stick type glue) or black fine yarn or
embroidery thread for the eyes (toy eyes are not suitable for children under 3 years)
NOTE (you can use push on backs too just remember to add your eyes before
completing the stuffing)
TOY FILLING
I use uncarded toy filling out of preference
EXTRAS
Scissors and yarn sewing needle
Finished size
About 4 inches from beak to tail
